My mentor… (meeting for the first time and getting acquainted…)

I accidently met Velupillai yesterday evening, while walking on road…

I just introduced myself, and he asked whether i am tamil? i replied yes and he asked where i am from.. i said trichy…. he said Pure tamil ah!, i\’m from jaffna, even more pure tamil! we laughed…

then i told him that i have heard a lot abt him and would like to talk to him…(since the weather was cold) he said he is feeling cold and even i should be feeling cold, so v can talk in detail later, i said sure, not now! i\’ll meet him soon. he said i can meet him in his office. (and pointed towards my research centre!) then only i came to know, he has been given office in my research centre (just a room away from my office)… v said bye and left… after few steps, i heard the voice! unnoda peyar yenna? I said Dharmaraj… and we waved bye…

today he asked one of the students to ask me to meet him in his office, if i am free. but since v have exam tom, i asked that person to tell velupillai that i will met him after the exams,,,,

interesting thing is that he had beard! (then I remembered the Kanniyanraj\’s words) and yesterday was thai pusam…

will update u after having a chat with Velupillai…
